I haven't had a whole lot of time to draw lately and I'm really missing it but in the mean time I've been doing some pondering of the wonders of the internet.

It amazes me that I, living in Newfoundland, Canada, can so easily connect with and get advice from people all over the world. Two people on DA that have been a great encouragement to me are ~Stapic and ~valeka, both people from places far away from me. The internet makes the distance that divides us disappear.

It also amazes me how the internet can break down generational walls. I am far from young - being in my 40s - yet here I am connecting with, and getting great advice from, young people like ~Stapic and ~valeka. That would probably be unheard off if the internet didn't make the generational walls invisible. These young people probably wouldn't bother trying to give advice to someone my age and someone my age probably wouldn't bother to listen to anyone their age giving them advice. I'm so thankful that they take the time to share their knowledge with me.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share some of what's been on my mind. I'm hoping to be able to find some time to draw this weekend but we'll have to see what happens.
